My paternal grandmother Evangelina passed away on Friday. There is lots to write and say, but for now, just a beautiful picture.

Losing a grandparent (abuelo/abuela) for me was partly sad, because they will be missed. But, having served many years as a Paramedic, I have seen many lives leave this earth too soon.
For me, in some way, when my favorite abuelo died, I smiled knowing he lived a long life, left many children, and lived life to the fullest.
Even in death, I believe people should look to the positive, and be happy for what our ancestors have done for us.
I am sorry for your loss. I sincerely hope you find joy in her memories by making them part of your life.
