Tomorrow (and for the next 70+ days) we can talk about the in’s and out’s of Judge Sotomayor’s judicial record and the political battle that will ensue. Today, this Latina is going to focus on what a remarkable moment this is.

I agree this is a most remarkable moment. I shudder to think what people will try to throw at her or her nomination. At the very least many anchors and other people will have to go through language pronunciation training =(
On a better note, I work in an inner city Catholic school and I know my kids see her as someone to whom they can relate. I hope more pieces highlight her NYC Catholic HS education.
